Hello, I'm Jaques62310.

Hi, we are Mike and Sue, and in 2019 we came here to the Pass de Calais Northern France, to House and Pet sit, an area that we had always driven past on the way south, we fell in love with this gentle countryside of green rolling hills and sparkling streams, welcoming locals who would stop to greet us or wave as they passed by, we also totally fell in love with the cottage but I suppose mostly the sweetest dog that we were looking after. After our 2 months here we carried on further South to our other couple of House sits until finally going back Home to the UK, We had become restless and just wanted to come back , we found out that the Pass de Calais house was for sale , phoned them up and said we wanted to buy and six months later we moved here, to our lovely little cottage , the only thing we couldn't buy was the Dog, .Just after moving in we had a visitor who has since " adopted" us, his name is Jacques, and he's a beautiful big pure White moggie, with an independent and determined attitude, who now likes nothing more than sitting by the fire or on a lap. We have a large garden. It took some doing to change what was basically a field into a flower garden , we've been here just over the year now and its starting to look as we want it to. Our House has 3 bedrooms , the bedroom in the Photo is a guest room with our bedroom downstairs, we have small sitting /TV room, a large kitchen and dining / living room separated by our open stairs . our bathroom is also downstairs. Outside is my art studio in our garden shed, a wood shed, a dog shed [ unused] and Mikes special place - a huge workshop. Things to know. We have No shops in the village, or Restaurant or Bar, its very peaceful ! But just 3 km away in FRUGES there is everything you will need , 2 Supermarkets, Hairdresser, Pharmacy, Medical centre, Boutique, Bars etc and a small Market on a Saturday morning, further afield in the larger Town of HESDIN the market is in the old cobbled streets on Thursday mornings _ selling everything ! and a multitude of shops. The Agincourt Museum not afar away is a newly built visitor centre on the site of the Historic fields.
