I enjoy travelling, meeting people and trying new activities and experiences. I am hoping to house sit either alone or with my partner. We are a mature couple but are fit and active. I have my own holiday rental property so have experience of managing a property and responding to any issues that might arise when looking after a home. We have our own dog but have also had cats and in the past and I have owned a horse. I was an active volunteer on a City Farm so don't mind work like feeding animals and mucking out. I am honest and trustworthy and would care for your home and pets as if they were my own. Having worked in children's services for over 20 years I have a current enhanced DBS check. I am now semi retired so looking for opportunities through House Sitting.

-What a wonderful housesit and Gillian and Kevan are such excellent hosts. The pets Rio and Lupa were excellent company during my stay and the garden is an absolute treat. Highly recommended!

-Gillian made me very welcome in her lovely home and took time to explain the daily events around the garden/ woodland / within the home as much as possible and provided a folder containing helpful contact numbers / recommended cafes,restaurants, places of interest etc . I didn’t meet husband Kevan as he was away but I was introduced to her delightful mother and we spent a pleasant morning shopping and having coffee. The 2 little dogs were well behaved and very sweet and we enjoyed our walks around the newly planted woodland opposite .
