I would highly recommend Sharon & Gary for housesitting and animal sitting. They were superb with their enthusiasm and dedication to their tasks of house/ animal sitting. They took the 2 dogs out 3 times a day for their walks and feed all the animals twice a day. They are a friendly couple and easy to get on with. We most certainly would ask them again to house/ animal sit in the future..

I hit the jackpot with Sharon and Doug who came to Marbella to look after my 2 westies for almost 2 weeks at the end of November 2023. They are a really lovely couple, professional, organised, love dogs (and other animals) and it is so easy to warm to them at first sight. They not only kept my place spotless, but looked after my dogs with love and care, including vets visits and going to the pharmacy for their medication, as well as sending photos and updates while I was away. I really enjoyed my vacation knowing that my home and pets were in such good hands. I hope always to remain in contact with this lovely couple and would highly recommend them for future sits..

If you want Sharon and Doug to house-sit for you, you had better book them early, as they are sure to be in high demand! They looked after my pets and my house with great care and attention, and affection for all my different animals. The house was immaculate when I returned, and all the animals were happy and relaxed with them. In addition to all of this they are hugely warm and friendly, and jumped in to my mad household with enthusiasm and a sense of humour. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sharon and Doug to anyone. As long as I have first dibs!.

It was our first experience of this kind of house/pet sit but Sharon and Dougy were so friendly and supportive that we have never felt so relaxed when leaving the dogs and house and going away. Excellent communication and such sunny dispositions. On our return the house was clean and tidy, in fact you would hardly know they had been! The main benefit…… They were so good with Olly and Becky that, although the welcome home from the dogs was fairly enthusiastic, it was not the usual frenetic greeting. It felt very much like “I’m glad you are back but I was quite happy without you”, rather than the usual “Thank goodness you are back, we have soooo missed you!” What an amazing couple, what an amazing first experience of Housematchsit!.

We couldn’t recommend Sharon and Doug highly enough. Very friendly, relaxed and obliging. We were very comfortable leaving the 3 babies in their care. I’m not one bit surprised that they are booked out well into next year. We would absolutely have them back anytime. The entire routine was adhered to which was brilliant as there were meds to be given twice daily. As a previous review said the house was absolutely immaculate on our return and you’d never know they were there except for the fact that it was so clean😊.

Sharon and Doug inspired confidence from the moment they arrived and the animals took a shine to them very quickly. I felt confident to go away and leave my home, two cats and elderly terrier in their care. Sharon sent updates during the stay which was very welcome and reassuring. Tess the terrier can be rather grumpy but Sharon and Doug won her round and had her eating and walking as well as taking her meds. Both cats were very content and Doug even found a dry spell to mow the lawn which was a real help. The house was left very clean and tidy, bed stripped and rubbish disposed of. I have absolutely no hesitation recommending Sharon and Doug as house/pet sitters. I feel very fortunate that they wanted to explore my corner of Devon and would love them to come back anytime..

This was my first time using HouseSit Match, to say I was nervous was an understatement. The minute Sharon and Doug walked through my front door they put my mind at ease. Willow, Flossie and Oscar took to them immediately. I was given updates while I was away and the dogs looked very happy and contented. When I arrived home the place was immaculate, the bed sheets had been washed and the bed re made. Sharon and Doug are a lovely couple and I hope I’m luck enough for them to return. I feel as though I’ve gained a couple of new friends and appreciate all their help..

My boyfriend was a bit skeptic at the beginning however as soon as he met Sharon and Doug he felt more relaxes and confident that Birra and Sputnik were in very good hands. In fact he can wait to book another trip and have S and D again with the boys. LOL The perfect uncle and aunty! The house was very clean and tidy upon our arrival and the cats were also very happy and well fed. It was our first experience with House sit but thank you to this great couple we really looking forward to have them in Alcudia again. We definitely recommend Sharon and Doug. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! MEOW.

I’m couldn’t rate them highly enough. Fantastic pet/house sitters. We have a house of complicated cats and they managed them perfectly. We would have Doug and Sharon back anytime. I’m very late getting to this task😱.
