My wife Christine and I are retired publicans from the UK. Since retirement we have been housesitting all over England and in Thailand for 2 months, where we cared for the house and 3 dogs. We love travel and dogs and cats, and find that housesitting is a great way to have an active holiday. We enjoy enjoy gardening and have cared for a range of properties large, small and even a bed and breakfast guest house. We have been invited back to many of the homes we have cared for. Our love of housesitting is based on our love of discovering new locations and meeting new people. It is a great way to meet new people and see the world. Our experience with animals started with having our own pets. We used to breed dogs as a family and up until 6 years ago we had our own dogs.
