-Christina welcomed me with open arms, as did her delightful animal family and I was made to feel at home straightaway. The house and patio were clean and tidy, and my bedroom (and bathroom) had been prepared for my arrival. Christina had prepared detailed instructions regarding the feeding of all the animals and the walking of the dogs, and after chatting for several hours, I was taken around the village, shown the various routes I could walk and introduced to some of the other villagers, all of whom were very friendly and offered assistance should I need it (I didn't). This is a sit in a VERY quiet village, in the first 5 days I did not see more than 10 people. It did fill up somewhat at the weekend when I must have seen at least 30 people! So, it is NOT a sit for someone who likes to party and /or be surrounded by people. However, if what you like is the peace and quiet of the countryside, some beautiful scenic walks accompanied by two delightful small dogs, as well as the possibility of visiting not only the sea (about 20 mins by car), but also loads of interesting and historic places around and about, then this sit would be for you.
