-What a joy to be greeted on arrival by the three dogs, Mollie, Millie and Babette. They remembered us from least year. Stuart, welcomed us with a bottle of pink champagne and a home cooked meal. How hospitable. We took him to the airport of Bergerac where he caught his flight via London to Chicago, visiting friends and celebrate his 70th birthday. The girls love their daily walks along the fields and meadows. Babette, Mollie and cat are on medication. These need to be given in the evening with their main meal. Eye drops for Mollie and Babette are essential prior to going to bed. All in all a very pleasant dog/housesit. Thank you Stuart

-We arrived one day prior to get familiar with the pets' routine, the house and general information of the area. Stuart was very organized and we didn't run into any complications. The dogs' routine wasn't demanding so we had plenty of time to explore the region. We rented bikes from the bike shop in town for three days. One afternoon we completed a 50 km scenic bike ride to Duras. It was a series of villages with rolling countryside, vineyards, cows and sheep. We stopped at a wood fired oven bakery and the bread was truly amazing. The villages were great to explore with the bikes. Plenty of historic villages, markets and restaurants to explore in the region. The dogs were entertaining and they all had different personalities. They had no problems adapting to us. Cat was low maintenance and only showed up for her feedings twice a day. Stuart had no issues if we wanted to stay longer after his return. He is a very generous host. The Dordogne region is a must to explore. Stuart's house-sit allowed us to leisurely enjoy our days. Thank you Molly, Millie, Babette and Cat for the company and Stuart for your invitation.

-First Housesit done and dusted. What a wonderful experience! "The Mad House" was my home away from home. I spent the first few days with Marie and Stuart getting to know them, the local area and of course the routine care of the animals. It took a few days to settle into daily life. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time at the house, daily walks with the "girls", exploring the beautiful countryside and improving my French. Marie and Stuart opened their home and hearts to me. I felt very comfortable there and loved the company of my new fury friends Molly, Babette and Millie.( and Cat!) Merci beaucoup.
