I am abroad for one week and need an experienced person to house sit and look after my adorable two toy poodles. It's a lovely house with a beautiful garden in a great area near shops, pubs and cafes and buses. You could explore Bristol and nearby Bath as the dogs can be left for up to 4 hours. They need a morning walk of 1 – 1.5 hours on the local common and a half hour evening street walk around 4​/​5ish. Sometimes I don't take Nelly on the evening walk if she's not keen or I carry her and just let her down for a wee! They sleep upstairs on my bed but you are welcome to bring up their plastic beds to put on the floor of your bedroom! They can be left for maximum of 4 hours per day. Maisie, 12, and Nelly, 9, are very affectionate and love cuddling up on the sofa and being played with throwing their toys. During the day they sleep a lot. When out walking, I ask for them to be kept on leads as extra protection and to watch out for large dogs crowding them or knocking into them. Nelly is blind and needs eye drops morning and night but easy to give as she knows they help her. Both dogs have their eyes cleaned with cotton wool at night and their teeth 'brushed' - but again not difficult and takes a minute or 2 only.
