1-11 June Petsit in friendly Buckinghamshire village UK
We live in a small, very friendly village high in the Chiltern Hills where you can walk out from the door, pick up a nearby footpath in any direction and go for miles through fields and woodlands among some of the most quintessentially English countryside in the south. It is doggy heaven! The community is the best I have ever known - everyone is incredibly welcoming and caring. Despite being deep in the countryside, we have a small community shop (open daily 7.30am - 5.30pm) within 3 minutes walk that sells everything you might need as well as a superb quality local meat and veg. Now the children have flown the nest we are looking forward to traveling more...but we need a truly caring pet lover to look after our adorable, energetic but well mannered small dog as well as our cat who needs human contact!

-I had a delightful 9 days with Inooka the dog and Tatti the cat. Beautiful and numerous walks in the surrounding countryside, aperitifs with the very welcoming neighbours, and cosy evenings in their lovely and peaceful house. Peter and Liz are charming, easy and welcoming, and Inooka now my favourite dog.

-I enjoyed my time with Nooka and Tatti, a friendly, obedient dog and an affectionate cat, named after a champagne brand and quite rightly so; one of his eyes is exactly that colour, the other green. That apart, the bed was great and the duvet even better. The house pleasant, the garden pretty and the area outstandingly beautiful, especially in November. Peter and Liz made available all the essentials and comforts for a successful stay. Highly recommended.

-What a pleasure it was to housesit for Nuka and Tattie while Liz and Peter were away on holiday. I felt welcomed immediately on entering their home and Liz and Peter proved excellent hosts offering a welcoming family meal, an insider's guide to the walks in the Chiltern Hills, introductions to friendly neighbours in their charming village and provision for anything I could need while they were away. A really delightful housesit which I highly recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy this charming corner of Buckinghamshire!
