We instantly warmed to Linda through our first WhatsApp chat. Very friendly, laid back and knowledgable about cats. We needed to get this house sit really right as we hadn’t been away and left our cats alone since June 2019 (3 years) . One of our cats requires a twice daily injection due to diabetes and the other needed pills so a relative challenge! Linda was absolutely fantastic and constantly reassured us and once we’d shown her things one or twice she just got on with it. She did really well and we returned to 2 happy boy pussy cats who were well, relaxed, chilled and a good weight. It was the best thing we did. They love knowing someone is there and would never cope with someone coming in for 10 mins at either end of the day anymore. Linda paid attention to detail brushing them and cuddling them. Linda even potted up a delivery of 72 perennials we had that we thought were arriving later in the month! A bit beyond the call of duty! She was great at communication and I would hear from her almost instantly if I texted her to see how things were. She is a lovely warm character with many stories of her travels; an inspiration to us with her wonderful attitude to people. Very refreshing. We couldn’t recommend her more.

Linda is a wonderful housesitter, a great communicator, and she did a great job with our cats. All were safe and happy on our return and the house was immaculate. Highly recommended. Linda is wonderful!

We consider ourselves so lucky to have met Linda through HouseSit Match: not only was she a thoughtful, caring sitter, looking after our home and our little kitty as if they were her own, but the pleasure that she took in our village and surrounds during her stay was a real delight! We are already discussing when she might be able to return!
