I have had the pleasure of knowing Simon and Deb as both personal friends and National Trust volunteer colleagues since 2018. I can confidently attest to their reliability, responsibility, and genuine care in all aspects.   Simon and Deb have consistently demonstrated a high level of trustworthiness and dedication in their volunteer roles as LiRF Run Leaders for Clumber Park Runners, a community based accessible running group. Simon acts as a parkrun ambassador for multiple high profile events as well as volunteer lead for MenWalkTalkmental health charity. As well as numerous charitable endeavours, Deb is always keen to share her love of open water swimming and running, encouraging and tutoring newcomers to the sport. Deb is also a dab hand with needle and thread, surprising friends with handmade gifts and mementos.   They approach everything they do with attentiveness and compassion, ensuring that the needs of others are met with the utmost care. I believe them to be persons of integrity and character. They have consistently shown respect, empathy, and a willingness to assist others, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike.   Their experience and conscientious attitude make them highly dependable individuals for any pet care or house sittingresponsibilities offered. To whom it may concern I am writing to provide a character reference for Debs and Simon Booth, whom I have been close friends with for seven years. During this time, I have come to know them as selfless and generous individuals who are hardworking, reliable, honest and trustworthy. Both Debs and Simon give their time generously for the benefit of others. They are both volunteer Run Leaders for the National Trust at Clumber Park. Debs and Simon are eager runners and regularly take part in parkrun on Saturday mornings. Simon is also a parkrun Ambassador. Debs took on an active role with the Crisp Packet Project, collecting empty crisp packets, turning them into foil blankets and arranging their distribution to the homeless. Simon, a former Director of Catering for the University of Surrey, is a coach and mentor for Men Walk Talk, a mental health charity, where Simon is a friendly face and confidant for men who need someone to talk to. I have no doubt that Debs and Simon will be reliable and trustworthy housesitters.
