Animals have always been such a big part of our lives. I spent a couple of years working for a dog-walking company and have had pets for as long as I can remember — including my sweet Yorkie, who was with me for 12 wonderful years. My husband and I have been house sitting for over six years now, looking after homes and pets for friends and family who trust us completely. We also run a small cleaning company, so taking care of a home comes naturally to us. We love leaving spaces tidy, organized, and cared for — it just feels right, and it’s something we know makes both homeowners and pets feel comfortable. Travel is a big part of our lives, and house sitting has been such a fun way to explore new places while helping others. It lets us live like locals and spend time with animals, which always makes a place feel like home. Now that our daughter is two, we’re excited to start traveling again as a family. She already has such a sweet connection with animals, and we love that this lifestyle lets her grow up surrounded by both adventure and care.
