House & Dog Sit in Beautiful Rural Norfolk (15 Nights) Hello and thank you for reading our profile. We are a long-married couple planning a special trip to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and are looking for a calm, experienced house sitter (or couple) to care for our much-loved dogs while we are away. Our dogs are very much part of our family and their wellbeing and routine are extremely important to us. We have three wonderful dogs. Lucy (11) is our gentle Greyhound and the relaxed matriarch of the pack. We rescued her while living in New Zealand and brought her back with us during the pandemic. She enjoys her daily walk but is happiest snoozing for most of the day. Norman (4½) and Sybie (3) are closely bonded English Pointers (HPR breed), half brother and sister. They are affectionate, energetic dogs who love their walks and cuddles, but once exercised they settle beautifully at home. All three dogs are crate trained and sleep in their crates overnight. They are comfortable being left for up to four hours if needed. To help them burn off their energy, we will book the local Puppy Paddock each day, where they can enjoy a safe off-lead run. Ideally we would love a sitter with some experience of working or HPR breeds who is confident and calm with dogs. Our home is an old Gardener’s Cottage just south of Norwich. We’re surrounded by lovely countryside walks and woodland, and within easy reach of the Norfolk Broads and the stunning North Norfolk coast. The house has Starlink Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, a productive vegetable garden (please help yourselves), a Weber BBQ, and a lovely outdoor space for relaxing and dining.
