Hello! We’re Pam and Paul, a caring, active semi-retired couple who, after long careers and raising a family, are now enjoying the freedom to travel and discover new places. We absolutely adore both cats and dogs, and HouseSit Match UK feels like the perfect way to combine our love of animals with our passion for exploring. We love the idea of helping people enjoy a worry-free holiday, knowing their pets are being cared for with genuine affection and attention, and that their home is in safe, respectful hands with a responsible, trustworthy, non-smoking married couple. We were fortunate to share our lives with two beloved Persian cats, whom we raised from kittens. One of them, Keo, lived to the wonderful age of 18, giving us plenty of experience in caring for senior pets as well as understanding the grooming needs of long-haired cats. Although we no longer have pets of our own, we regularly care for a friend’s five cats when she is away, providing plenty of affection, companionship, feeding, litter care, and medication when needed. We’re also devoted dog lovers and have looked after a variety of dogs for family and friends over the years. We loved hosting a gentle elderly poodle as a house guest and often care for my brother’s energetic but shy whippet, Beans. We also have a special fondness for our neighbours’ dogs. Luna, a beautiful young spaniel cross with soulful brown eyes, who never tires of chasing a ball, while Shorty, a wise and characterful Jack Russell, seems to understand every word we say! We always enjoy their enthusiastic greetings, wagging tails, and requests for cuddles, and we're happy to help with feeding, walks, and companionship whenever needed. We never pass a dog on a walk without stopping to admire it, and we love chatting with pet owners. Being around animals brings us so much joy, and we would be delighted to become part of your pet's routine while you're away.
