We’re Rod and Jac Joy. We live in North Devon and had two Springers, Oscar and Charlie. Oscar crossed the rainbow bridge in 2024, just before his 15th birthday and Charlie, a few weeks back, days before his 13th birthday. We’ve also had cats and other small animals. We both don’t think we could go through the heartbreak again, so decided to join up, to be able to enjoy caring, walking and loving other peoples fur babies, so they can enjoy some time away, in the knowledge that your pets are in safe, trustworthy hands. I've also previously had cats and volunteered for the Cats Protection League and in my younger days also had a gerbil and hamster. Rod was a submariner, despite being claustrophobic, for 23 years and joined the police four days later as a serving officer. He always brags that he’s never had to buy work clothes 🤣. He’s currently working part time as a Police trainer. We both work remotely from home, so will always be around for your pets. I work for a charity as a Company Secretary, PA to the Chief Exec and Senior Leadership team and also do some HR. I was a Special Constable for 5 years. Previously I worked in Event Management and HR. We both drive and have a hot tub at home which is regularly cleaned and maintained by us. I hold an enhanced DBS and Roddy has RV vetting through the police, which is a much higher level of clearance.
