I am a mature lady in my mid sixties who has always had dogs in my life. My own when our children were young but for the last 14 years I worked as a live in housekeeper in a cottage in the grounds for the same family in Hampshire which involved taking care of two large labs during this time and security of their home when away. Last October I moved to Dorset with my husband and through mainly recommodation we have set up a small service offering pet​/​house sitting as it is something we are passionate about. This has taken off really well with many repeat bookings and references can be provided from recent dog​/​house sits, plus from my 14 year role. We also lived in Portugal for 5 years taking our own dog with us at the time and very quickly become known as dog lovers so started looking after family pets in our own home also. My husband and I are now looking to take some time out next January​/​February 2027 for approx 3 weeks in Europe so hence I'v joined HousesitMatch to offer the same level of care to your pets and home should you be looking during this time or future dates.
