We are Indrani and Conan: a recently-retired public servant and fiction writer, respectively. We live in Canada. We began as homeowners with HouseSit Match and are now adding pet sitting to our profile. We are keen to travel and understand the importance of having a trustworthy pet and house sitter while away, so we thought we'd offer other pet guardians that same peace of mind while we visit other parts of the world. We are currently pet guardians to 3 wonderful kitties and had a lovely doggo for over 8 years. Our philosophy is that the pets rule and we must keep them happy! We have pet and house sat for many a friend, neighbour and family member. Whether your cat is indoor-only or indoor​/​outdoor, a kitten, adult or senior, we can manage it. Our experience with dogs is limited to rescues that already know how to do their business outside and walk on a lead, and that are reasonably well behaved. We do love a goofy pooch and are happy to walk dogs as much or as little as they like! We have given our own pets oral medication, but have never had to give injections. That said, we are always willing to learn. While we are happy to dote on your pets, we do approach these trips as travel opportunities and would ideally like to take a few hours during the day to explore the surroundings. We firmly believe in leaving a place in better shape than we found it and always treat the homes we are invited into like the castles they are. Happy to keep plants watered. Depending on the number of pets and the distance to the housesit, one of us may go solo, but would of course discuss this with you beforehand.
