Mike was an excellent pet sitter and a pleasure to host. He left our house perfectly tidy and clean and both our kitties were well looked after and content. During the summer months and the recent heat waves, the pussies insisted on sleeping in the garden and not coming into the house at all - despite their quibbles and fussiness, Mike dealt with them easily and seamlessly. We would be delighted to host him again in the future.

We were very pleased to welcome Michael to our house as an experienced pet sitter. He sent us regular updates and photos of our two cats and coped competently with a couple of domestic issues which arose whilst we were away. His calm approach impressed us and the cats were happy and relaxed on our return. Michael was so kind and caring we felt confident leaving him in charge. We would have no hesitation in asking him to sit for us again.

Mike and his partner were great pet sitters - our guinea pigs were very looked after and the house was left spotless for our return. Mike checked in with me beforehand regarding how much communication I would like while away and sent updates as requested. Mike was thorough in making sure he was prepared for the sit before arrival and was easy to communicate with. I'd definitely recommend Mike if you're considering having him to stay and look after your home and pets.

What a lovely couple. Mike and Melanie were the perfect house sitters. They took a genuine interest in the pets and the house, we felt very comfortable with them and our dog Bagel took an instant liking to them both, which I think is very telling. I can highly recommend them

Mike and Mel did a fantastic job of sitting our dog and two cats. They were very organised and asked for a lot of details before the sit so they felt on top of things. We didn't ever actually meet, as they arrived after we left and before we got back, but they were very friendly and kept us in the loop while we were away. On top of the pets, they did the most amazing job of keeping our very large garden going through a heatwave/drought, which honestly blew me away, and I am so grateful for!! The house was spotless when we got back and the pets were super happy, so we couldn't have asked for more. The one thing to note is that Mike and Mel are very fastidious sitters who take their role very seriously and like everything just so. During this dry summer we've had a few ants in the kitchen (not enough to particularly bother us) and they were really not happy about it. Everyone has their own tolerance for these things, so it's fair enough, but I would definitely mention anything like that in your pre-sit discussions in order to avoid stress while you're away/ for them while they sit.
