Alex was super organised and reliable as a Housesitter and kept in regular communication while we were away. No pets to care for but a number of tradespeople and other visits needed to be accommodated and Alex was always ready to help. As he was working from home full time, we knew the house was in safe hands which was reassuring .nHe was also very flexible and obliged us by staying on longer than the original plan which was very helpful!

Alex looked after our house for us for an extended period from December 28th 2022 until February 28th 2023 whilst we were overseas. We had just finished a renovation and the house was handed over to him in an immaculate condition and when we returned it was found exactly as we had left it. Alex was conscientious and communicative throughout and we felt reassured that he was taking good care of our property at all times. We weren’t able to hand over to him personally, so we left videos and notes for guidance and Alex took it all in his stride. He is an honest and decent young man, who I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a Housesitter and although we don’t have pets, I feel sure he would be a kind and considerate pet handler as well.

Alex came to our rescue at the last minute when our house sitting plans fell through prior to our travels. He was happy to help us out and while we never met face to face we had several conversations on the phone and by email leading up to our trip. Alex arrived when he said he would introduced himself to our neighbours and took excellent care of our house and pets while we were away. He was great about keeping in touch and I suspect our cats were thrilled to be in the company of just one adult instead of the usual crazy family life. Our usually vengeful dog (who doesn't like to be left behind) hasn't done anything naughty since we got back which means she got the attention that she needed too! We returned to happy clean pets and house. I can't recommend Alex enough!

Alex was an excellent home and pet sitter and I couldn't recommend him more highly. This was our first experience of using housesit match and we wouldn't hesitate to use this service again and Alex if he was available! We had a pre-house sit meeting to go through our dogs needs and to familiarise Alex with the house. I would definitely do this again as it gave us total peace of mind. We came home to two very content and happy dogs and a neat and tidy house!
