I retired five years ago from a career in University administration. I hold dual British​/​Swiss citizenship and speak French and German. I'm a homeowner, single, and have three years house​/​pet sitting experience with another website and have a CRB check dated November 2013. I have over 30 five-star references with c50 visits under my belt, including repeats. I look after cats, but have also cared for chickens and tortoises. My sits have been across the UK, Europe and the US. I took a break for two years to refurbish two properties and now wish to resume sitting. I have always owned cats and recently adopted a rescue pussycat, Dolly. I enjoy the adventure of travel; the anticipation of discovering new places, experiences, people, and facing different personal challenges. I am calm and level-headed, used to handling situations on my own, and am told I'm very independent.
