Ciao! As a mostly solo backpacker over 50 (ok, now over 60!) I’m an adventurous vagabond exploring this planet - from Sri Lanka to Paris and Vietnam to Vancouver! Originally from Chicago, then from the mountains of Colorado to living in Porto, Portugal. Working on getting my Italian passport so I can meander around the EU without stay restrictions. I’ve housesat on the Gold Coast of Australia, in the ocean town of Port Townsend in Washington State, near the vineyards outside of Seattle and for 2 months as a caretaker of a haunted 16th century Tuscan villa. I’ve owned rental real estate since the 80s and have been a landlord and Airbnb host forever. I’ve had dogs and cats most of my life and haven’t killed many houseplants! Very good at bringing in the mail and keeping a place clean.
