My name is Daniel Mensch, born in 1962 and raised in the US. After an international management consulting career - which brought me first to Switzerland then Sweden - I currently work in the field of environmental and social sustainability. As I work freelance, and largely with the production of digital education, I have the luxury of working remotely and with a high degree of flexibility. I as well live a minimalistic, low impact and relatively spontaneous lifestyle, travelling light by rail and boat wherever possible, and in keeping with this, typically spend my holidays sailing, trekking and camping. I prioritise a plant-based diet, drink only occasionally and have never smoked. I train regularly and maintain a good fitness level. In my official residence of Sigtuna, Sweden, I have a 17 year old daughter, Johanna, two cats and a young bearded collie.
