We are both from academic backgrounds and have recently retired from University and College jobs. Jan has a background in Occupational Therapy, Tony in art. We enjoy the countryside and are keen walkers, cyclists and gardeners. We are both pet lovers and had cats until our last one died 3 years ago. We are both responsible and caring people with a love of animals but also understand the need to look after the house we are staying in. We have done several house and pet sits over the past few years in the UK, Europe and NZ all of which have been enjoyable and have had more than satisfied owners. (there have been several repeat sits). We are practical, self sufficient and are confident in a range of environments both dealing with people and animals. We have recommendations from other platforms we use as well as references.
