OUR PETS Male Standard Poodle 4 yo Female (neutered) Weimaraner 3 yo Ginger & White moggie 7yo Both dogs approx 30KG; All pets fully insured OUR HOME Large rural converted barn on an old farm. One close neighbour, friendly and helpful if needed. Very peaceful location. Surrounded by farmland and hedges, fully fenced garden. Solar panels, GS heat pump. Underfloor heating. Garden swing, chairs. Beaches 15 minutes drive away, large beach/forest/dune reserve 12 miles/20 minutes drive. Well-stocked kitchen, most gadgets, cooking range, Quooker (instant boiling water). Laundry room. Sitter(s) would need to drive because of the location. We are completely non-smoking, organic, wildlife-friendly. We require sitter(s) to be non-smoking as one of us is allergic to cigarette residues. Full broadband internet connectivity (one of us is in IT). Netflix, Sky etc. Large flatscreen TV in lounge. We usually both work from home and the dogs can be left alone for a few hours once they have adapted to new people. No more than 4 hours absence without them, and only occasionally please. OUR LOCATION The island of Anglesey is very beautiful. There are numerous other beaches and we could arrange a commercial enclosed field dog exercising area if needed. Snowdonia can be seen from the kitchen and garden, approx 35 minutes to the foothills, 1 hour to Snowdon itself. Climbing walls less than 20 mins away. Sports centres 10 minutes , spa 5 minutes. The dogs will swim in the sea with you, one is more hesitant than the other. Shops - local store 5 minutes, supermarkets 10 minutes, lots of cafes and restaurants from 5 to 30 minutes, many dog-friendly. We would appreciate some plant watering inside and out, and feeding the wild birds, but above all be kind and loving with our precious companions. We have 2 SUPs (one large enough to take 2 dogs and 2 humans) 1 Canadian canoe, bikes, exercise bike, steps, weights, yoga mats. It’s not a show house; sometimes a messy home! Arrival a day before we leave is preferable for the first sitting so that we can show them the ropes and introduce the animals. Ideally, sitters spending a trial long-weekend here (while we go away in UK) sometime soon would be ideal.
