OUR LOCATION -
We live in a spacious and characterful apartment in central Aix-en-Provence, a short walk from the Cours Mirabeau and the central marketplace. We are steps from the main market which operates every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Aix has so much to offer any visitor, with easy access to culture, history great food and wine and cafe culture. The town is filled with amazing restaurants and shops. If art is your thing you can visit the Musée Granet, or Cezanne's studio and in fact walk in his footsteps around the city. We'll leave you a list of recommended places to go in the town and nearby.
Parks - We are also a short walk from one of the local parks (which our dogs love to visit), and a 15 min walk from the larger Parc La Torse. Additionally there is an enclosed dog park about a 15 minute walk from us.
OUR HOME - Our apartment is a 1 floor walk up. We have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The guest room has a double bed and a dedicated bathroom. There is good Wi-Fi in the apartment and air conditioning in the bedrooms, as well as a washer and dryer.
OUR PETS - We have two adorable dogs who love company, Riley (7 years) and Spud (9 years). Both are healthy and need 3 short walks a day. Please note, our frenchie Spud has had two back surgeries (many years ago) due to IVDD, so while healthy we do ask that you can assist him up and down stairs at times, as they can be hard on his back.
Ideally we would like the housesitter/s to arrive 1 full day before we leave to meet the dogs and acclimatize. Please get in touch.
