This is a country household and will suit someone who likes country living and all that entails. We have 4 dogs. The 2 older labradors are both well trained working dogs, the third is a work in progress and the lurcher likes her sofa. Plenty of country walking direct from the house. Chickens provide plenty of eggs for breakfast and cakes! We are 5 minutes from Tesco & 20 from Waitrose. Animals are most important in my life, hence my needing like minded & committed housesitters to keep them company and exercised. My interests include outdoor activities, gardening and travelling. The house is approached through gates and set well back from a lane. It is surrounded by large garden. It has 5 bedrooms, and housesitters will have their own bedroom and bathroom. Life centres around the Aga and the kitchen opens onto an enclosed part of the garden. We have unlimited fast wifi. In the summer watering the plants would be needed. We have a vegetable garden with plenty of produce and also a fruit cage, so plenty of raspberries etc in the summer months. The dogs need at least one good walk a day, 40 minutes minimum, and they will be happy to be taken for more. The chickens need letting out in the morning and feeding/ shutting up in the evenings.
