We are situated in a semi rural village​,​called Sheriff Hutton​,​ ten miles from the city of York It is a seven minute walk to the post office and stores​,​also a great pub which serves good food and a delicatessen cafe and takeaway We have lovely views of the historic castle​,​and back onto the cricket field and bowling green We have one dog a little Shih Tzu called Maddie ​,​four years old My husband and I are retired We are thinking of going away mid may for two weeks Also a mini break in April to have a to see how Maddie is being left We have only had her four months ​,​ and never left her
