I head up a small charity, Sussex MS Centre in a town called Southwick. My husband is David who is a classicist and writer of books and is mainly at home writing and the mainstay for our pussycats. We love gardening and have just been making big changes to our front garden and we are now concetrating on the back garden. Stan and Ollie are brothers and they love sitting out in the sun lazing around when its warm; they are lovely companions - they also do a heck of a lot more sleeping now they are the ripe old age of 20, 21 in October!

We live in a comfortable family home with a garden near Lewes in East Sussex, UK. Our home is fully accessible with a gentle ramp leading up to the front door but parking is on the road and we have to walk up a passage way to to reach the front garden gate. The room in which you would stay is on the ground floor, and there is a wet room next to it. We have a charming front and back garden. Our nearest town is Lewes, about four miles away (twelve minutes by car, with an irregular bus service). Lewes is a beautiful historic town famous for its dramatic Bonfire Night celebrations, the 1264 Battle of Lewes, and its well-preserved medieval architecture. We buy all provisions there but our small village has a great village shop and pub.

Stanley and Oliver are precious! They are loved and cared for in their lovely home, which I was privileged to enjoy! EJ and David provided everything that the “boys” and I needed and we all got along famously! Thank you for allowing me to enjoy Barcombe and all who live there - the house/kitty sit was wonderful!!
