Hello, I'm HouseSitBucks.
We live in a large detached house with a big garden, walking distance from Beaconsfield town centre. We are in our mid fifties with adult children who have recently left home. The house has plenty of space, all the usual appliances and TV with basic Sky package and Netflix. In the town centre there are several supermarkets (M & S, Waitrose, Sainsburys) as well as a selection of cafes and shops. A car is not essential as everything (including the station) is in walking distance, but if you have a car then there is off street parking. We have a six year old Golden Retriever (Cassie) who is young and fairly energetic. She enjoys at least one walk a day but would actually walk all day given the chance. She is well behaved but does love to chase squirrels or ducks and has a never ending desire to retrieve tennis balls in the garden. She is pretty strong so you need to be active and confident with medium to larger dogs. She will sit in muddy puddles or paddle in rivers whenever she can. When in the house she likes to be around other people but is fairly independent and will mostly just sleep. She is not allowed upstairs. There are a couple of dog walks from the house that include a section of woodland where Cassie can be let off the lead. There are also a number of walks within a five to ten minute drive for the more adventurous. We also have a 12 year old cat who has a cat flap so comes and goes as he pleases. He loves a lap and a bit of attention and tolerates the dog.

I housesat in Buckinghamshire at this lovely property for fletcher the cat and friendly lab . I found the dog was a bit to strong on the lead pulling a lot. Just a note. But the couple made me feel most welcome. Kind regards Pets an me. Karen.

Jenny and Peter were great hosts, with great communication before and after the sit. Their home is very comfortable, close to shops and amenities. They welcomed us the night before the sit and we had a lovely dinner out together. Cassie is a delight to look after, friendly and playful , loves her walks and going to the pub. Would love to come back and highly recommend this sit. Thanks again for having us.

Jenny and Paul were very friendly and welcoming hosts, they prepared all the information we needed for the sit, and we kept in communication during our sit. Cassie and Fletch are easy care and friendly, we particularly enjoyed long walks with Cassie in the surrounding areas. A very comfortable home with town centre and public transport nearby. Highly recommend this sit and would love to come back if the opportunity arose.

We house sat for Jenny for a week and it was such a lovely experience. We met her and her family before they went on holiday and they were all friendly and welcoming. Jenny wrote out a comprehensive list of instructions and information for the house sit but if we had any questions she replied promptly to text messages. Cassie is such a friendly dog and we enjoyed our long walks with her. Both cats are equally as affectionate and once we'd got into a routine with all of them, it was easy to settle in. The area is lovely, with the Chilterns a stone's throw away. A highly recommended house sit.
