(by Stripe)Our Housesit We have a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom townhouse (end unit) with pool and swim up bar. There is also a rooftop terrace with beautiful views of the sea, mountains and the Bay of Altea on the Costa Blanca in Spain. It is a 15 minute walk down to the shops and restaurants and a 20 minute walk to the beach. The beach town of Albir is located on the Costa Blanca, 3 miles south of the beautiful old town of Altea, and 30 minutes by car north of Alicante. Our Pets: We have one small dog, Marcello, a Yorkie mix, who is 10 years old, and also an 11 year old orange and white cat named Cessarina. Marcello takes heart medication twice a day and an anti-inflammatory with dinner.

We had such an enjoyable couple of weeks in Albir looking after Marcello & Chezzi. Leila was such a thoughtful and generous host and very easy to communicate with. She made sure that we were fully briefed prior to her departure and even introduced us to a friend who lived in the vicinity. Marcello is a gorgeous fluffy little dog who absolutely loves playing hide and seek amongst the sofa cushions! As Marcello is on medication you just need to ensure that this is administered twice daily prior to meals. Chezzi is very independent but will let you know if anything is required and is very affectionate on her own terms. They were both a real pleasure to look after. Leila's home is stunning and is set in a very peaceful yet accessible location. We encountered a freak lightening storm whilst we were staying there so it was incredibly useful that Leila had left contact details for her electrician and her friend to minimise the worry. We can highly recommend this sit and a huge thank you again to Leila.
