Hello, I'm Spanishvilla.

Bob and I have lived in the Costa Blanca in our current villa for 14 years. We first moved here with our dogs and cat​,​ all of which have now passed away. We rescued two dogs from the nearest rescue organisation. As the town of Benissa​,​ where we live had no such scheme​,​ I joined with five other retired ladies to raise sufficient funds to build a dog rescue centre in Benissa. This was opened in April 2017. After 8 years​,​ I decided to resign to enable me to spend more time following more artistic pursuits. Meanwhile​,​ Bob signed up as the local Lions club secretary​,​ a position he still holds. Most of our holidays have been taken in the UK or by motorhome with our two salukis​,​ Freya aged six and her daughter​,​ Sharni​,​ aged 18 months. Both girls are very happy with people and with life.
