(by Stripe)OUR PETS - We have one friendly dog called Luna, she needs attention and feeding of course, hence we’re looking for a housesitter to care of her and keep her company when we are away. PROPERTY - We live in an old English farmhouse that we’ve modernised and refurbished to include all mod cons. We have a large garden in a beautiful English village in Buckinghamshire. You can walk to a local pub and our historic Church in the village and to the cricket pitch. Lots going on in the Summer. LOCALITY - You need a car to get to local shops in Princes Risborough (with train to London) – where you will find all the amenities you need, supermarket, shops. cafes, doctor and vet. We are also close to other large towns like High Wycombe, and close to Oxford.

I had a lovely time taking care of Oscar - what a sweet and friendly kitty. He was sociable enough to sleep with me!! The property was beautiful and in a fantastic location, 5 minutes' walk from a lovely country pub. Lucy gave me a complete set of written instructions and was extremely helpful and communicative. Thanks so much for the opportunity :)

I thoroughly enjoyed my week looking after Oscar & Luna. We enjoyed many walks, ball games, fruit-picking, chill time over the week. The only complaint is that the week passed too quickly. Wonderful quiet village location, beautiful walks in the village. Notes given covered everything you could possibly need so the owners can enjoy their holiday without any worries. I am so pleased that I had the opportunity to meet this friendly and welcoming family. Lunar and Oscar were adorable when I met them for the first time. During my stay, I felt very relaxed in such a quiet and beautiful location. I ventured out into the village but enjoyed the peace and quiet at the house so much and having a feline friend for company was perfect for some down time. My stay flew by far too quickly. Also the notes were really helpful and great to have to read during my stay. Big thank you 😊 all just fabulous and miss Oscar already.

Good verbal and written communication from Lucy about the house sit. It was really useful to have all the information to refer back to if needed. It was lovely to meet Lucy, Waldi, Hannah and Grace - not forgetting Lunar and the star of the show, Oscar. All were very welcoming and friendly and put us at ease. The house and gardens were a joy to look after and stay in. Everything for a week stay was available to us. There were lovely walks and lots of beautiful places to visit for a few hours. Oscar was a lovely cat - so friendly and charismatic who loved human company. We thoroughly enjoyed our house sit. Thank you Lucy and Waldi for this house sitting opportunity.
