(by Stripe)The house was built 20 years ago as a farmhouse. Our neighbours live in adjacent cottages and are around if help is needed. Adjacent to our house is a small racing stables which is very quiet, with two horses in training at the moment. The horses are sometimes turned out in the paddock in front of our house and are lovely to watch but are no trouble. There is a small garden cared for by estate gardeners. There is a BBQ and off road parking. The house has 5 bedrooms (3 ensuite). There are televisions in the drawing room (Sky), kitchen and 3 bedrooms. There are plenty of good walks locally and excellent pubs. Warminster is the nearest town with good supermarkets, about 7 minutes drive away. The village shop in neighbouring Heytesbury is just over a mile away, with post office, cash machine, eggs and some provisions.

A lovely couple to house sit for. Had to come and rescue me when I got stuck in the snow trying to get to them. We arranged for me to get to them a day early so that they could show me around the area and how everything in the house worked. They made me feel very welcome. Have two lovely dogs who were no trouble to look after and were very well behaved. They have neighbours who were on hand should I have had any problems and also left very clear instructions and numbers that I might find useful.
