(by Stripe)OUR HOME We have lived in our beautiful spacious Georgian house for the last eight years. The property is in good condition and over the last few years we have restored original features. We love it and feel very lucky to be in this glorious part of the country. We have redesigned the garden which is approximately half an acre, with a lawn, flower beds and a vegetable patch. The new green house is a delight and I am becoming "green fingered"! We would want any guests to care for our home as if it were their own. OUR PET Our dog, Pepper, is a whippet cross Bedington terrier, she is nearly a year old and very sweet natured. She is walked twice a day for about 30/40minutes in the morning and 15/20 minutes in the evening. She is very loving and well behaved. She can be left on her own for up to four hours, but never on her own overnight. PROPERTY MAINTENANCE We have a gardener who comes in once a week to cut the grass and look after the flower beds. Also we have a cleaner who comes in once a week to clean and tidy the house. But we will need you to water our pot plants and the plants in the greenhouse. Also keep the house clean and tidy while you are housesitting. OUR LOCATION Our village is near the towns of Great Missenden and Amersham both with direct links to London. The village has a local shop, a public tennis court, a pub and we are surrounded by fabulous walking country. There are many points of interest within a short drive away you can reach a number of National Trust properties (e.g. Hughenden, Waddesdon) , the market towns of High Wycombe, Beaconsfield and Chesham.

A great sit. Great hoese owners,I came the day before they left and we got on very well. Ros made a good dinner and we had a couple of beers. All information was perfect. And I dont even have words for how lovely Saffie the dog was. It was pure pleasur to have her around,both in the house and on the walk. And Perer and Lis are so good nighbours. I really enjoyed this sit.

I found the houseowners, to be thoroughly charming. They were very thorough in their guide to the housesit and kept in regular contact before and afterwards. They were kind enough to ask me to join them for the evening meal with their family before they left for their flight the following morning. The neighbours, which were designated contacts during my stay, were friendly and welcoming also. My room was large, comfortable and I had my own bathroom and full run of the house in their absence. I was also told that I could avail myself to the produce from the garden and greenhouse. I had a lovely time and was able to enjoy the local area and the property. Saffie, their beautiful dog, is a loving and obedient companion. The entire family could not have been more welcoming.
