MY HOME
My apartment of about 100 m2 has two levels. Both bedrooms and the bigger bathroom are located in the lower level. On the ground floor you'll find the living room, the kitchen and a small bathroom. There's also a terrace overlooking a small garden.
TRANSPORT
There is space to park your car in the street, and you can use my bike or the local tram. The nearest station is about 3 minutes on foot.
LOCAL ACTIVITIES
Do you like to be outdoors? You will be in a good location from which to explore the Black Forest by hiking or cycling. The city center of Karlsruhe is about 5km away (12 minutes by tram or 15 minutes by bike). There is a lot more to find out about the town and it's activities on the official website (www.karlsruhe.de).
EXPENSES
As this is a longer housesit I want to ask if you would be open to pay for the living expenses like water, gas and power. I pay around 75 Euros per month for all three together. Your costs might be higher because this is during the Winter and early Spring Months. We can discuss how we do this.
PETS
I don't have any pets. I just need you to care for my apartment while I am away. If you want to bring your own pet, let‘s talk about it.
VISITORS
Would your family or friends like to join you in Karlsruhe? They can use the second bedroom. But please note that I will put a lot of my things in this room to make space for you in my wardrobe and dresser.
YOUR ARRIVAL
My flight leaves on Sunday, January 18. If possible I‘d like you to come a day or two earlier so I can show you everything, from how the apartment works to the highlights of our lively town.
