Co Donegal is the jewel of the Wild Atlantic Way. With stunning beaches, amazing landscapes and wonderful welcome. It offers traditional music quaint towns, and a number of attractions.
Northern Ireland offers the near by historic walled City of Derry, with its museums, attractions and guided walks. Belfast is within a day trip distance, I'm sure one of the neighbours will let the dog out for you. There are numerous working museums, world famous attractions like Carrick-a-Rede, The Giants Causeway.
