We live in the picturesque English village of Seer Green, near the market town of Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire. The village is surrounded by beautiful countryside, with countless walking and cycling routes through the Green Belt and the Chiltern Hills, making it an ideal location for anyone who enjoys the outdoors.
Our house is tucked away in a quiet private close in the centre of the village, making it peaceful while still being only a short walk from local amenities.
Within a few minutes' walk of the house are two excellent dog-friendly pubs, including the famous Jolly Cricketers, as well as a village shop and an independent café.
Despite its rural setting, Seer Green is very well connected. The village is just under a mile from Seer Green & Jordans railway station, with regular direct trains to London Marylebone in around 30–35 minutes. We are also conveniently located close to the M40 and within easy reach of the M25.
We are close to another pretty village of Chalfont St Giles, which is where our vet is. There is a lovely walk across fields to get there, and a range of deli shops, cafes, a local butcher and fruit and veg shop.
Nearby towns include Beaconsfield, Amersham, Gerrards Cross, Marlow and High Wycombe offer excellent shopping, cafés, restaurants, parks and leisure facilities.
We live in a comfortable four-bedroom detached family home with a large, secure garden and off-road parking for up to three cars. There is a spacious kitchen with breakfast bar, a separate dining room. Bathrooms include a family bathroom with shower and bath on the first floor, and a downstairs toilet and small utility room.
The garden provides plenty of space for our dog to play and is a lovely place to relax during the summer.
We have high speed internet (wifi), a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, a BBQ and outside area. The sitter could also have access to Netflix / Sky, Disney+, Apple TV.
