OUR HOME
We live in a bright and sunny three bedroomed villa with a garden and pool. As a guest you'll have use of the main bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Bedrooms on the top floor have a sea view!
OUR LOCATION
We are in an estate within easy walking distance to the super market and some great beaches. There is a market every Sunday morning in the Summer on the beach front promenade. By mid September it moves 200m away to Paseo Marítimo. Worth a look.
Other interesting places to visit include :-
1. The Pulpí Geode (Geoda de Pulpí) - BOOK AHEAD
Located inside the nearby Mina Rica (just a 10-minute drive inland), this is the largest accessible crystal geode in the world. Discovered in 1999, it contains massive, completely transparent gypsum crystals up to 2 meters long.
2. Castillo de San Juan de los Terreros - GREAT VIEWS
Built in 1764 under King Charles III, this 18th-century coastal fortress sits atop a headland over 100 meters above sea level. It was originally constructed to defend the coast against Berber pirate raids.
3. Isla de Terreros & Isla Negra Natural Monument - BEAUTIFUL
Just off the coast lie two small volcanic islets: Isla de Terreros and Isla Negra. Protected as a natural monument, they host significant seabird nesting colonies and underwater Posidonia oceanica meadows.
