OUR HOME We live in a five bedroom semi-detached house in a beautiful village just outside of Bristol. There’s a large downstairs living area, including an open plan kitchen-diner with double doors that open out onto a decking area with a dining table, seating area and BBQ. The house is on a quiet residential street with very friendly, conscientious and helpful neighbours. We’re lucky to have a large south-facing garden with stunning countryside views across a valley. Our garden is full of fruit trees and bushes, and has a decking area with sofas perfect to catch the evening sun as well as a biodiversity pond. OUR LOCATION Our village, Long Ashton, has a very friendly community, beautiful local walks, 3 pubs, a cafe, a Post Office stocking local products, a Co-Op, a bakery and other local amenities. We’re fantastically located just outside of Bristol with the Somerset countryside right on our doorstop. The vibrant city of Bristol is a 15 minute drive / 25 minute cycle / 1 hour walk away, with a regular bus service from the village. You can also enjoy day trips to many Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty across Somerset, Exmoor, Cheddar, North Devon and South Wales, including some lovely nearby beaches. OUR PETS Our two cats, Tenby and Willow, are very friendly and well behaved. They both love affection and Tenby in particular is always up for lots of cuddles. They spend time indoors and outdoors, coming and going through an automated cat flap.
