We are non-smoking, animal-loving self-employed gardeners who like to travel. I am a retired Police Superintendent and my wife and I work together in our family gardening business. In the past, we have had two cats that lived until they were 15 and 21, and two border collies, the oldest of which recently crossed the rainbow bridge at the age of 15. We still have her daughter Tinker who is nearly 12. We have kept up to nine chickens and now we just have a seven year old chicken. We regularly provide holiday cover for a friend’s cattery and small holding so are used to the daily chores that come with poultry, fish, dogs and cats. We plan to travel more and would love the opportunity to look after pets whilst seeing the world at the same time.
