Hi we are Gill and Andrew, recent retirees after careers in Healthcare and Hospital Management and Engineering respectively. We love the countryside and have self built our eco home on a 3 acre plot with stunning 360 views. We also love France and Scilly Isles and really appreciate house-sitting support a couple of times a year as our home is not a typical lock up and leave! Happy also to provide self catering accommodation either side of our time away to facilitate travel and to allow sitters to familiarize with our home and animals.

My Properties

Set in 3 acres and surrounded by open countryside with walks from the door. We are set high up on the side of a hill with 360 views. There's a small lake, a heated pool and lots of outside seating to admire the view. With no immediate neighbours and 1/2 mile farm access track leading to the Oundle and Fotheringhay road, it feels remote and private and yet Waitrose, pubs and restaurants are just a couple of miles away. We feel blessed to live in this part of the world. The A1 is about 5 miles away and there's a direct London-Edinburgh train service from Peterborough which about 11 miles away. We have very high speed wifi and plenty of desk space if you wish to work from home. The chickens and cat are very undemanding and there's a good supply of fresh eggs to boot. All the major food stores deliver.
