  I had a lovely house sit in Nikki’s comfortable home. As is my usual procedure, I had already met her, along with her adorable elderly dog Basil. I arrived to a welcoming and clean house, and Nikki made me very welcome, as she wasn’t leaving until early the next morning. The house is lovely with everything you could want, and I instantly felt at home. Basil is the sweetest and gentlest dog, he really was a joy to care for. He is very well-trained and is a pleasure to walk, with excellent recall, even though he is partially deaf. With lovely walks right outside the door in a beautiful nearby park, plus sunny and dry weather, Basil and I enjoyed some really great walks. The time I spent there went by far too quickly. However, Nikki very kindly let me stay an extra couple of nights, as my next house sit didn’t start until two days later, so I also had the chance to get to know Nikki better, which I very much enjoyed. She made me feel most welcome, and I very much enjoyed chatting with her and hearing all about her lovely trip and golf tournament. I’ve been invited back for another sit in a few weeks’ time, so I’m very much looking forward to staying again soon. Thank you, Nikki. 🙂
