After having travelled extensively working on private yachts as a chef I bought an apartment in Palma, Mallorca, 20 odd years ago. When I stopped working onboard, I could finally create a real home; change the balcony and terrace of my apartment from a bare, tiled area into a green space, interesting for birds, insects, friends & me and an exiting playground for a funny cat that was always kept inside before I adopted her. After 15 years of hard work the terrace has become a beautiful green jungle, a very enjoyable place to be. Sadly enough my dearest feline companion has recently passed away, so it will just be the plants that need to be taken care of during the period I am intending to travel.
